Between May 24 and June 3 2019, the James Bond fan community celebrated the 50th anniversary of their favourite entry in the series, ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE. The event brought the original stars from the film back to the filming locations in both Portugal and Switzerland. The initiative and overall coordination was in the hands of Onthetracksof007.com. This is the story of how this event came about and how I experienced the event personally.

About the book and authors

Martijn Mulder served as the overall coordinator of the cross-border 50th anniversary event for ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE and the many stories about how exactly this event came about and what all happened in Portugal and Switzerland just had to be told. Together with the fantastic images made by event photographer Sascha Braun the reader can experience this event as if he or she was actually there.

From the start at the Hotel Palaçio Estoril in Portugal to the mountain top lair of Piz Gloria in the Swiss Alps, this was an unfortgettable event that ticked every box imaginable.
