Meet the authors

Sascha Braun

Germany based Sascha Braun is a professional photographer who started his career 20 years ago. Since 2013 he runs his own photography studio, specializing in weddings, families and newborns. Another one of his passions is cinema and his involvement with events as event photographer lead to the publication around the 50th anniversary celebrations of the James bond film ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, in Portugal and Switzerland.

Simon Firth

Simon Firth became interested in, and subsequently hooked on the world of James Bond when introduced by his father to watch on TV Dr No and, months later, Thunderball. An interest in art and marketing saw the creation of a collection of film posters and similar promotional material. Following a love for Villefranche sur Mer and the surrounding countryside’s impact on the James Bond films that led to the writing and publication of CÔTE D’AZUR, Simon's first book with DMD DIGITAL. For all things professional, he is a self-employed contract Project Manager working in the Telecommunications and Media sector.

Thomas Gleitsmann

German engineer Thomas Gleitsmann has a clear passion for everything James Bond and above all a keen eye for detail. His passion for travelling brought him to all the corners of the world and during this he developed a love for Thailand. His research skills combined with everything mentioned above lead to co-authoring his first publication about the country he loves so dearly.

Marc Hernandez

Being a Peterborough resident and the assistant editor of Nene Steam Magazine, Marc has always been close to the Nene Valley Railway action. His passion for the historic railway combined with his love for James Bond, made him realise there was a story that needed to be told. Extensive research, interviews and a pile of never-before-seen photographs eventually lead to the publication of his first book.

Jeffrey Marshall

Born in 1959 in Philadelphia, USA, Jeff Marshall graduated the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 1981 and immediately started working as a self-employed creative developer and project director.

As a self-employed artist, illustration opportunities present themselves in many shapes and forms. He undertakes private art commissions for graphic design and illustration and he regularly looks after the cover art for the On The Tracks Of 007 publications.

Jeff Marshall’s creative philosophy is one of craftsmanship, attention to detail and a constant effort to develop fresh originality in each and every solution.

Martijn Mulder

Author, journalist and designer Martijn Mulder ('71) became a fan of the James Bond franchise in the early 80s. Ten years later he began a journey to attempt to (re-)discover every filming location ever used in the Bond films and this research ultimately lead to the self-publication of ON THE TRACKS OF 007, at a time when the concept of print-on-demand was first introduced. Mulder started DMD DIGITAL for the sole purpose of having his own work printed and distributed, but eventually started working with other authors to extend the company's library.
